That Girl

 As a little girl of about 7 years old, I started watching the TV series "That Girl" and I cannot believe the impact that it had on me growing up! I grew up wanting to be Ann Marie in the sense that I wanted to grow up and be on my own,  be independent, move away from my parents, have my own apartment with a devoted boyfriend. So for the past few days I've been binge watching the t v series "That Girl". Prior to my current binging, I have only watched a few episodes as an adult  so this the first time I'm watching this series again in it's entirety through an adult's eyes versus a child's eyes. One of the comments and criticisms I have heard and  read often about the show is about how Ann Marie she lived in a nice apartment in Manhattan, had nice clothes and how she could afford that? I WANT TO LIVE IN SERENITY...

 Who else watches the Netflix series, "Sweet Magnolias"? If you are not familiar with the show, it is centered around three women who live in a small, fictional southern town called Serenity.  These women have been best friends since high school, have maintained the relationships and have been each other's support through all of their adult ups and downs. They are as close as any sisters could be. They share everything with one another, they don't judge, they fight, they love, they experience what truly happens in relationships--it's not sugar coated but for me, it makes me long for those types of relationships in my life. I somewhat had that with one of my sisters who has passed away but with my other sister. Yes, I love her and we get along but I wouldn't necessarily call us close.
